This hat was hand crafted and completely one-of-one.

"I harvested the cedar with the Puyallup Tribe in the spring of 2025. We wait a full year after harvesting before processing and working with the cedar. We’re only allowed to take a small portion from each tree to ensure it stays healthy and can continue to grow. We also have a specific time of year when we can harvest, and we never harvest from the same tree twice." -Jojo Pettibon

Born and raised in Tacoma, WA Jojo Pettibon, aka Jojo Cedar, first began working with cedar as part of her healing journey. An artist and mother, Jojo makes linocut prints, jewelry and cedar weavings, primarily hats and ornaments. Her multidisciplinary practice brings together traditional materials with the bold, irreverent aesthetics of punk rock.
