This volume was published by the Frye Art Museum in conjunction with its exhibition Joseph Park: Moon Beam Caress (February 18–May 22, 2005).

Moon Beam Caress is the first museum exhibition of Canadian-born Joseph Park. In this exhibition Park presents fleeting fantasies that invite the viewer to contemplate scenarios and subject matter that are recognizable yet unfamiliar, creating a tension that provides a provocative inquiry into the notion of representation.

This catalogue includes a foreword by Midge Bowman and essay by Robin Held along with full color illustrations of the exhibition artwork and an exhibition checklist.
