This publication was issued in conjunction with a series of exhibitions intended to draw public attention to the Horace C. Henry Art Gallery collection’s quality and range. These exhibitions begin with Mr. Henry’s late 19th and early 20th century painting collection and feature paintings, works on paper, ceramics, textiles and costumes.
This volume includes a forward by Henry Art Gallery Director, Harvey West, essays on Horace C. Henry and the Henry Art Gallery Building by Barbara Davis and Joseph N. Newland, along with illustrations and photographs of 101 selected works from the collection.
