Doley the Guatemalan Street Dog
by Jill Brazier
Illustrations by Marcio Diaz
Written in both English and Spanish with vibrantly playful illustrations, Doley the Guatemalan Street Dog tells the story of a dog, his companion, and the lively, colorful streets of San Marcos, Guatemala.
Doley is directly inspired by Jill Brazier’s real-life experience living in a bamboo tree-house above Lake Atitlan, in the small village of San Marcos, La Laguna. This is her first book in a series of bilingual picture books for children. Jill lives and works in Seattle, WA.
