Eleanor Cheung Sailor is a Seattle-based Asian American artist specializing in chainmail jewelry. She works at a micro scale, weaving together stainless steel jump rings in a combination of classical patterns and freehanded ones. If traditional chainmail is meant to protect the body, her work recontextualizes this art form as protection for the mind and soul.
