kwonny is a Korean-American artist working in Seattle. Her practice involves collage and a technique with acrylic paint that evokes watercolor properties and suspends the paints in movement as they dry. A sense of lifelong liminality is furthered through the animal and mythic subjects that dominate her paintings.
