Rocking Ulm Stool
Rocking Ulm Stool
by Matthew Hilger
A play upon Max Bill’s iconic Bauhaus inspired Ulm stool for the Ulm School. The original stool was meant to do several different things. It's meant to be a seat, it wants to be a side table, can it can be used to carry things around when you use the solid rod on the bottom as a handle. Unlike the original stool this one adds some fun and frivolity to an otherwise utilitarian design by way of a curved side meant for the user to rock out and play a little bit.
Material: Maple, powder coated solid aluminum rod
Dimensions: 15 in. x 10.75 in. x 16.75 in.
