This collection is handmade by Shahd, a self-taught multi-media artist. They use a form of bead-weaving, creating jewelry using crystal, glass, and gemstones. They have taught private beading classes to both adults and children and continue to offer one-on-one classes. They are Palestinian and non-binary and find beading to be a meditative and healing cultural practice which that pass on in their teachings.
