High Desert Bandana

This design was created as an homage to the high desert landscape and the plants and creatures that inhabit it. The illustration features medicinal plants including yarrow, juniper, sagebrush, and mullein, surrounded by graphic elements reminiscent of stones, cracked earth, and the power of the sun.

Elana Gabrielle is an illustrator, maker, and designer of printed textile and paper goods for the body and home. Her work is deeply inspired by the natural world.  From foggy beaches of her childhood to dusty desert valleys, Elana's handmade goods mirror the environment by focusing on form and function, using sustainable practices and natural fibers, dyes, and inks. Elana currently lives and works in Portland, OR.
