Frye x Design is an annual poster series that invites local designers to create work inspired by the museum. The 2025 poster was designed by Daniel Onufer.
Daniel explained his inspiration for the design: “This poster was inspired by Olson Kundig’s entryway design, which guides visitors through five distinct levels of light as they transition from the energy of the city into the contemplative space of the museum. More than an architectural feature, this sequence serves as a liminal threshold—an intentional space that quiets the mind, dissolves external distractions, and prepares the viewer for deeper engagement with the art inside. The museum itself reinforces this ethos, removing both physical and financial barriers to create an accessible, human-centered environment where art can be experienced freely. It’s a place where world-class, high-culture exhibitions coexist with the raw energy of local artists.”
Dimension: 13.66 x 24 in.
