This catalogue was published by the Frye Art Museum in conjunction with its exhibition Chimeras: Stephen Fisher (October 13–December 17, 2000). This exhibition features a selection of the charcoal and graphite drawings along with the intaglio and woodcut prints by Stephen Fisher.

Fisher’s work repeatedly calls our attention to the subjective and transformative aspects of visual experience. His prints and drawings present us with a world perceived through a glass darkly.
