Truth Vessel No. 11
by Ria Leigh
This one-of- a-kind ceramic references a form of ship camouflage used in World War I and II called “dazzle camouflage.” Unlike most camouflage which is meant to conceal, dazzle camo is used to confuse, making accurate judgment of distance, speed, direction & class difficult.
Trained in fashion design and drawn to traditionally female-dominated mediums, Seattle- based Ria Leigh finds inspiration and source material in ancient and modern realms.
