Hannah Walker (she/her) is a Seattle-based ceramic artist whose work blurs the line between functional object and surreal sculpture. Influenced by the bold visual language of American traditional tattoo art and the dreamlike distortions of Surrealism, Walker approaches her vessels as canvases—much like the body—where form and surface are inseparable. Her ceramics evoke humor, personality, and a striking sense of presence. Through a practice grounded in hand-building, wheel-throwing, and material exploration, Walker challenges the boundaries between craft and fine art, inviting a fresh perspective on adornment, function, and embodiment.
